Feature Name: Create International Shipment with own rates
Feature Overview:
OTO helps you send your local shipments as well as has integrations for your international shipments. If you have an agreement with a cargo company to create an international shipment, you can create a shipment via OTO after configuring it.
How to Use the Feature
Step-by-Step Instructions
To Access Create International Shipment Page:
Navigate to Shipments > Pending Orders in the side menu.
You may see that your orders are in a country different from the destination country column, meaning that an international shipment needs to be created.
Choose the order that you wanna create international shipments.
Click on the Create Shipment button.
Choose With my rates option.
Choose the shipping partner that you have an international shipment agreement.
Click on the Create Shipment button.
After creating shipment you need to get International Proforma.
Go to the Awaiting Pickup tab.
Choose the shipment that you created internationally.
Click on the Print button
Choose International Proforma

Q: How do I identify orders that require international shipping?
A: Navigate to Shipments > Pending Orders.
Check the Destination Country column. If the destination country differs from the origin, the order requires international shipping.
You can also use the search bar to filter orders based on country or recipient details.
Q: What should I do if the shipment details on the International Proforma are incorrect?
A: Verify that the shipment was created with accurate data (e.g., weight, dimensions, sender/recipient address).
Edit the shipment details and recreate the shipment if necessary.
Q: Can I use multiple shipping partners for international shipments?
A: Yes, you can configure multiple shipping partners under Settings > Shipping Partners.
When creating a shipment, simply select the desired partner from the available list.
