How to create a shipment with OTO rates

OTO allows its users to directly ship with delivery companies without having any contracts. In this model, you will be able to explore different rates offered by delivery companies and different services such as 4 hours delivery, same-day delivery, next-day delivery, cold delivery, heavy & bulky, etc

How to create a shipment in OTO Rates?

Go to the shipments tab, if you did not add an order you should add an order first, go to this link to add an order. Select one of the orders, click Create Shipment, and select With OTO Rates.

In the form, select a box that you have predefined, add a new box, or enter the weight, height, and length of your shipment, enter the weight, and click the "Show Shipping options" button.

Now, you can see a list of delivery companies. Choose your preferred delivery company and simply click the "Select" button.

You will see all the information about the delivery company services and fees in this step, click Proceed to finish creating a shipment.

   What needs to be set up before using this feature?

Order and warehouse (pickup location) must be added to the OTO system. 

Credit must be purchased for the shipping fee.

1. Common Issues and Solutions:

   • Issue: Create shipment gives an error.

   • Solution: Check the shipping error logs to see the error, and you can try with another delivery company.
