Step 3: Fill Out the Wave Form

In standard waves, Picker or Team Assignment is Mandatory to ensure operational clarity.
Order IDs: This field auto-populates with your selected orders.
Assigned Picker: Select an individual picker to handle the wave.
Assigned Team: Alternatively, assign a picker team to manage the wave.
Sorting Needed: Toggle this option on if sorting is required after picking.
Submit: Once all required fields are filled, click Submit to finalize the wave.

Sorting Needed: Enable sorting if required for the wave.
Submit: Once ready, click Submit to complete the creation of your zone-based wave.
Pro Tip for Zone Picking
Proper Zone Setup Is Critical!
Before creating a zone-based wave, ensure your zones are configured properly in the system. Each zone must have default pickers assigned to ensure smooth and accurate wave assignment. A well-organized zone layout boosts efficiency and reduces operational errors.
Wave Types at a Glance
Standard Wave: Best for general picking where orders are handled by manually assigned pickers or teams.
Zone Wave: Ideal for larger warehouses with specialized zones, where the system assigns waves to the default pickers of zones automatically.
