Free Tracking SMS Setup/ Free Plan

Tracking shipments and knowing the latest updates are among the most important factors that support customer trust and are one of the key steps in the shipping process. For this reason, OTO offers a free feature to send SMS messages that allow the customer to track the shipping status and know all the details and updates related to their shipment.

To Set up your tracking message, follow these steps:

1. From the main sidebar menu, go to Settings and then click on 'Customizable Pages'.

2. Click on 'Add New Settings'.


3. In the free plan, you will find that the message type has been automatically set to 'Tracking', and only the first template is available to choose from.

4. Click on the checkmark ✔︎ then add.


Important Note: For more types of messages, templates, and the ability to modify the templates to suit your brand, you need to upgrade the plan.


5.  Next step:

Go to the 'SMS Messages' page from the main sidebar settings and click on 'Add SMS Settings.'



6. From the SMS Settings page, simply click on 'Add.'


Now, whenever a shipment is picked up a message will be sent to the customer's phone number with a link leading to the below page with all the needed info.  Or simply click on the tracking URL to be redirected to the shipping company's own tracking website.
