The Products Management feature in OTO empowers users to organize and manage their Products catalog efficiently. Users can create, update, and synchronize Product details with sales channels, assign custom attributes, and maintain inventory accuracy across multiple platforms. This ensures streamlined operations and enhanced order fulfillment capabilities.

How to Use the Feature

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prerequisites:

  • Ensure the user has admin permissions to add or edit Products.

  • Verify that the relevant sales channels are connected for synchronization.

2. Add a New Products:

  • Navigate to the Products section from the sidebar.

  • Click the Add Products button in the top right corner.

  • Fill in the required fields in the "Products" tab:

    • Products Name

    • SKU

    • Price (Specify tax percentage if applicable)

    • CategoryBrand Name, and HS Code (optional for classification).

  • Add optional details, such as:

    • Products dimensions (length, width, height, weight).

    • Description and images (upload via file or URL).

    • Select Pre-Order Only or Bundle Products options if applicable.

  • Click Add to save the Products.

3. Sync Products with Sales Channels:

  • Navigate to the Sales Channel Sync tab in the Add Products form.

  • Specify the sales channel and Products ID.

  • Enable the Inventory Sync toggle to synchronize stock data automatically.

  • Click Save to finalize synchronization settings.

4. Manage Products Attributes:

  • Navigate to the Products Attributes tab under the Products section.

  • Click Add Products Attributes to define attributes like size, color, etc.

  • Fill in the attribute fields:

    • Attribute Name and Label.

    • Select Type (e.g., text, numeric).

    • Assign a default value if needed.

    • Specify if the attribute should be visible on imports.

  • Save the new attribute to apply it across Products.

5. Update Products in Bulk:

  • Use the Upload Data to upload products in bulk via file upload file

  • Issue: Unable to add a new Products.
    Solution: Ensure all mandatory fields like Products Name, SKU, and Price are filled.

  • Issue: Attributes not visible on Products import.
    Solution: Check the "Show on Import" toggle when defining the Products attribute.
