In OTO, your product catalog is the backbone of smooth operations for OTO PACK and OTO INVENTORY. Setting up products accurately ensures efficient inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and warehouse processes. Whether you’re adding products manually, syncing with sales channels, or importing in bulk, we’ve got you covered!

Where It All Happens: The Products Page

The Products Page is your one-stop shop for managing all product-related activities. You’ll find it under the Management menu in OTO.

What You Can Do Here:

  • Search & Filter: Quickly locate products by SKU, name, category, or other details.

  • Add Product: Add a single product with all its details.

  • Bulk Import: Add multiple products at once with our easy-to-use Excel template.

  • Synchronize Products: Update your catalog instantly by pulling product information from your integrated sales channels.

Adding Products Manually

Got a new product? Adding it is simple!

  1. Click Add Product on the Products Page.

  2. Fill out the product details:

    • Required Fields:

      • Product Name: The name customers or your team will recognize.

      • SKU: A unique code to identify the product.

    • Optional Fields:

      • Price & Currency: Set how much the product costs.

      • Tax Amount: Add any tax rates for the product.

      • Barcodes: Include primary and secondary barcodes for smooth scanning.

      • Dimensions & Weight: Useful for shipping calculations.

      • Category & Brand Name: Organize products for better tracking.

      • Bundle Product: Create bundles by adding sub-products in a product tree.

      • Preorder Only: Available with OMS, this holds orders for products until stock is available.

  3. Double-check the details, then hit Add to save your product.

If you’re integrated with sales channels, the Synchronize Products feature is your new best friend.

This magical button pulls product information directly from your connected sales channels. No manual updates needed!

Bulk Import: Big Catalogs Made Easy

Need to upload a lot of products at once? Bulk import is here to help.

How to Import:

  1. Option 1: Upload Data Button:

    • On the Products Page, click Upload Data.

    • Download the Excel template, fill it out with your product details, and upload it back.

  2. Option 2: Product Import in Data Center:

    • Navigate to Settings > Data Center.

    • Select Product Import, upload your template, and track progress on this page.

Track Progress:

The Data Center lets you see which records were successfully imported and highlights any errors for quick fixes.
