Feature Overview: The View Order Details feature in OTO provides users with a comprehensive overview of an order's information, including receiver details, shipping status, and product details. This functionality is accessible from all tabs in the Shipments section, allowing users to review order details regardless of the order's status.

How to Use the Feature

Step-by-Step Instructions


Steps to View Order Details:

  1. Navigate to the Shipments Section:

    • Go to the Shipments section in the sidebar.

    • Select the relevant tab to locate the order. You can access this feature from the following tabs:

      • Pending Orders

      • Awaiting Pickup

      • Currently Shipping

      • Shipment On Hold

      • Delivered

      • Returned

      • Canceled Orders

      • All Orders

  2. Locate the Order:

    • Use the filters or search bar to find the specific order you want to view.

  3. Access the View Order Option:

    • Click on the three-dot menu () or select the Orders dropdown menu next to the desired order.

    • Choose View Order from the available options.

  4. Review Order Details:

    • Once the order details page opens, you can view the following sections:

      • Receiver Details: Includes the receiver's name, contact information, and address.

      • Order Details: Displays the order number, payment method, warehouse, and order total.

      • Shipping Details: Provides information on shipping status and logistics partner (if applicable).

      • Packing Status History: Shows the history of packing actions for the order.

      • Status History: Tracks changes in the order's status over time.

      • Products Description: Lists the products included in the order with their quantities and details.

Use Case Example:

  • A customer inquires about their order details, including tracking information. Navigate to the relevant shipment tab, locate the order, and use the View Order feature to access all necessary information for the customer.

Troubleshooting and FAQs

Q: Why can’t I find the order in the selected tab?

  • Ensure you are in the correct shipment tab that corresponds to the order's status. Use the All Orders tab if you’re unsure of the order’s location.

Q: Can I edit the order while viewing details?

  • No, the View Order feature is read-only. To make changes, use the Edit Order option in the Pending Orders tab.

Q: Can I print order details directly?

  • Yes, after viewing the order details, you can use the Print option in the Shipments section to generate a printable version of the order summary.
