What are the different delivery statuses in OTO?

Delivery status is a term used to describe the current state of an order or shipment. 


There are several different types of delivery statuses, such as shipped, delivered, and canceled.


Delivery status can be important for a number of reasons : 

1- For customers, it can offer clarity and allow them to track their shipments easily.

2- For businesses, you, as a client can provide real-time updates for your customers, order management, and ensure that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.


Each status has a different journey throughout the shipment process, let's get to know them. 


1- Pending Orders : The order does not have any shipment yet



Awaiting Pickup: The order has been created by the shipper and is now waiting for the courier/driver to pick it up.


You may see other different statuses when the shipment has been created :

  • Shipment Processing: The shipment has been created and is currently being processed.

  • Shipment Confirmed: The shipment has been confirmed and will soon be prepared for pickup by the shipping company.

  • Going to Pickup: The courier/driver is on their way to pick up the shipment.

  • Reverse Going to Pickup: The courier/driver is on their way to pick up the reverse shipment.

  • Arrived at Pickup: The courier/driver has reached your location for the pickup.

  • Collected: The shipment has been successfully collected.

  • Reverse Shipment Processing: The reverse shipment is currently being processed.




 

Currently Shipping: The carrier/driver has picked up the shipment from the warehouse or client's/shipper's location and is in transit.


Other Statuses You May See After Pickup:

  • Out for Delivery: The shipment is on its way to you.
  • Arrived at Destination Terminal: The shipment has reached the carrier's hub, where it is being transferred to different routes for further distribution.
  • Arrived at Origin Terminal: The shipment has arrived at the terminal in the city or near the city of the customer.
  • Picked Up: The shipment has been successfully picked up.
  • Arrived at Destination: The shipment has arrived in the customer's city.
  • Shipment In Progress: The order has been placed, and the shipment process has started.
  • In Transit: The shipment is on its way to the customer's address.
  • Return Processing: The return order has been initiated and is being processed for shipment.
  • Undelivered Attempt: The courier attempted to deliver the parcel, but the delivery was unsuccessful.
  • Shipment On Hold: The delivery is on hold due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal of goods, or wrong phone number.
  • Reverse Out for Delivery: The reverse shipment is on its way back to you.
  • Reverse Picked Up: The reverse shipment has been picked up from the customer.
  • Reverse Going to Pickup: The courier/driver is on their way to pick up the reverse shipment.




4- Shipment On Hold : The delivery address is incorrect or incomplete, the recipient refused the goods or wrong phone number.


You may see other different statuses when the shipment is on hold :

  • Shipment On Hold by Warehouse 
  • Shipment On Hold To Cancel 



5- Delivered : The shipment has been delivered.



6- Returned : The shipment has been returned.


You may see other different statuses when the shipment is returned :

  • Returned - The shipment has been returned. 
  • Confirmed Return - The return have been confirmed.
  • Reverse Returned - The reverse shipment has been returned. 
  • Reverse Confirm Return -  The return have been confirmed for the reverse shipment. 



7- Cancelled : Canceled orders.



8- All Orders : All orders appears here despite their statues.
