How to Create a Bullet shipment

* How to Create a Bullet shipment : 

Creating a Bullet Shipment is the same as a creating a shipment with other scheduled shipping companies.

If you are connected already using a sale channel, then the order will automatically appear on the Shipments - Pending orders as usual, but if you are not you can add a manual order using the relevant article link :

- Once the order is created, you need to select the order and choose Create shipment - With OTO's rates. 







- Choose the suitable Bullet delivery company based on the coverage and the Delivery Time.


Once chosen, you will see a Shipping details with all the needed information.

Kindly take a moment to read the instructions on the screenshot before proceeding.





1. You are going to set the Shipping prices range :

Please set a maximum shipping price limit to avoid extra charges for address updates upon receiver confirmation. If the updated address exceeds this limit, the receiver cannot confirm Bullet Delivery.


The minimum is 21 SAR and the maximum is 26 SAR for the shipment to be excepted with Bullet Delivery as the prices depends on the km.


2. Once the price is set, check the box on : 

I understand and confirm that the maximum allowed price will be charged immediately, and any excess will be refunded after the shipment is created.



3. Available Delivery Hours :

The receiver will be shown available delivery slots for today. Please select your preferred pickup hours, and the receiver will be provided with delivery slot options that align with your availability.

Start Time - End Time of your warehouse's working hours :

You can choose as you like for the courier to come collect the shipment.

1. Confirmation SMS

An SMS with a link to a confirmation page will be sent to the receiver, where they can verify or update their address and preferred delivery slots.


2. Confirmation Process

Once a confirmation SMS is sent, the order status will change to Waiting Receiver Confirmation in Pending Orders. 

Upon receiver confirmation, the order status will change to Confirmed and Scheduled in Awaiting Pickup, and your shipment will be created at the start of the selected delivery slot. 

- If the receiver doesn't confirm, the order status will change to Confirmation Failed in Pending Orders. You'll be notified and can create a new shipment.


3. Charges

- Charges will be applied based on your maximum allowed price selection.  

- After the receiver confirms the shipment, the charges will be recalculated. 

- Any excess amount will be refunded to your balance. In cases where the receiver does not confirm the shipment, all charges will be refunded.


4. Cancelling the Confirmation Process

You can cancel the confirmation process and create a new shipment without waiting for confirmation.


Next, Kindly click on " Send Confirmation SMS "


Once sent, you will this screen.


Then, the customer will receive a SMS to confirm.

He will see his order number, date and address.




The customer should confirm if his address is correct and to choose if he is available to receive it.


Are You Available for Delivery Today?

There will be two options :

1- I am available today

If he/she choose this option, they need to choose the delivery time.


2- I am not available today 

If he/she choose this option, the order will be cancelled and recalculated.







Once the order is confirmed, the status will update on your dashboard. 

The shipment number will then appear on OTO's platform 15 minutes before your chosen pickup time.



* Please note that the final pickup time is 6 pm.
