Why Bin Inventory Import Matters
Bin Inventory Import is not just a one-time setup for onboarding—it’s a powerful tool for maintaining alignment between your inventory and bin inventory. Whether you're onboarding or fixing discrepancies, this feature helps ensure your warehouse data is always in sync.
When you import bin inventory:
It automatically aligns Quantity on Hand with the sum of bin inventory.
If alignment issues occur, actions like Equal On Hand Inventory to Bin Inventory and Update Quantity Available are available to fix discrepancies.
Required Fields in the Template
Before we dive into the steps, here’s what you’ll need in your import file. All fields are required to complete the process:
SKU: The product identifier to be assigned to the bin.
Quantity: The exact quantity of the SKU in the bin.
BinName: The unique identifier for the bin where the product is stored.
Ensure your file is organized with these columns before proceeding. If you're unsure, you can download the template directly during the process.
