How to Use the Feature
Step-by-Step Instructions
Prerequisites:
Ensure you are logged in as a user with permissions to manage orders.
Orders must be in the Pending Orders tab to apply the "Put on Hold" status.
Steps to Put an Order on Hold:
Navigate to the Shipments Section:
Go to the Shipments tab on the sidebar.
Ensure the selected order is in the Pending Orders tab.
Select the Order:
Locate the order you want to put on hold.
Select the checkbox next to the relevant order.
Access the "Orders" Menu:
Click the Orders dropdown menu above the shipment list.
Select Put on Hold from the options.
Confirm the Action:
A confirmation prompt will appear.
Provide any necessary notes or reasons for holding the order.
Click Confirm to finalize the action.
Review the Order Status:
The selected order will now appear in the Shipment On Hold tab.
You can resume the order at any time by navigating to the order and selecting the appropriate action.

Scenario: Pre-Order Management
Situation: A customer places an order for an item that is currently out of stock but will be available soon.
Action: Use the Put on Hold feature to temporarily pause the order until the stock is replenished.
Result: The order remains organized in the system and can be resumed once the stock arrives.

Issue: Unable to see the "Put on Hold" option.
Solution: Ensure the order is in the Pending Orders tab. This feature is only available for orders that have not been picked up or processed.
